I am pleased to announce that the application for Tampines District Sports Carnival 2011 is open for registration!
Through this challenge, greater bonds and friendships can be fostered not just among each individual unit but also among the district.
The Tampines District Sport Carnival is divided into 3 sports, mainly Frisbee, Basketball and Floorball. Each team for Basketball and Floorball consists of 7 players; 5 players and 2 reserves, while from Frisbee consists of 9 players; 7 players and 2 reserves.
Each Unit can sent a maximum of 2 teams per Troop/Sport.
Registration will be based on first-come-first-served basis. Below are the full details:
Date: 17th September 2011
Time: 0800 hrs - 1400 hrs
Venue: East Spring Secondary School
Course Fee: $28 per team of 7 (Basketball/Floorball)
$36 per team of 9 (Frisbee)
Closing Date: Monday, 15th August 2011 at 3.00pm
Briefing Date: 27th August 2011
Time: 1400 hrs - 1500 hrs
Venue: East Spring Secondary School
Attire: PT Kit with Unit Tee or Scout related shirt
Things to bring: Writing Materials.
Those Scouts who are interested, please submit your name and indicate what type of sports that you are interested in to PL Jasper Ten LATEST BY MONDAY, 15th August 2011 at 3.00pm.
