Job Week Camp - 11th - 14th March 2011
To All Ngee Ann Wichita Scouts,
This is a gentle reminder. The Job Week Camp will be held from Friday, 11th March to Monday, 14th March 2011.
Below are the full details:
Time to report: 3.00pm
Attire: Full Uniform. (For the Sec 1s, please report in PE ATTIRE)
Flagstaff to be ready by 3.00pm.
TL/SPL: Please assign duty Patrol to do the Flagstaff.
Take note that, the Job Week Camp is COMPULSORY for ALL SCOUTS FROM SEC 1 to SEC 4. Attendance will be taken. Those who are not able to come for the camp are to produce an MC. If there's no MC, your ATTENDANCE will be taken as 'ZERO'.
Another important thing, ALL SCOUTS are to bring $10. This is for the FOOD that will be catered for you.

Purchase of Scout Uniform (For Sec 1s ONLY)
To All Sec 1s,
This is a gentle reminder. Tomorrow, Wednesday, 9th March 2011, you will be going down to Scout HQ (At Bishan) to purchase your new scout uniform. Do bring extra cash with you. Expected amount to spend: $80-$100. All SEC 1s are required to report outside Auditorium at 2.30pm. For those Sec 1s who are transferring out, you need not have to attend. We will be going there by public transport. PL Edward & PL Ang Yufeng will bring all of you to scout hq. You will be dismissed from there. All of you will eat lunch at Bishan. For those of you who cannot make it, I have scheduled another session which is on Thursday, 10th March 2011. Time will be after 2.30pm.

March Camp(11th March - 14th March)
This Friday will be the March Camp aka Jobweek camp. This is the camp where the sec 1s get investitured and officially become a Scout. It is also a camp where you will have to go out to many people houses, asking for jobs and doing it as part of your Jobweek. It will be a 4D3N camp. More details will be posted on the blog at a later date. So please visit the blog REGULARLY!!

Please take note that, all of you will be going down to Scout HQ (Bishan) to purchase your scout uniform. Below are the full details:

Attire: PE Attire
Please bring along CASH with you. (Ard S$100). Your senior will accompany you to Scout HQ. You will be dismissed at Scout HQ. Thank you.

This is a gentle reminder. You are to report at Outram Secondary School this Saturday, 5th March 2011 for your Basic Scuba Diving Course. Time to report will be BY 1PM!

It aims to immunise school students against the dangers of drug and inhalant abuse. All registered Scouts can apply for the course. To attain the Anti Drug & Inhalant Abuse Proficiency Badge, Scouts must ATTEND the full day course at SANA HQ. There are 2 parts to attain this badge.
Part I: Written Test
Scouts need to sit and pass the written test during the duration of the course
- Section A (MCQs)
- Section B (True/False)
Part II: Online Badge Project - Submission of Friends of Transfer Agent
Scouts will need to proceed to this website: http://www.sana.org.sg/badgeproject/ to submit 10 transfer agent forms online two weeks from the course date.
ABSENTEEISM from the course, or failure of the written test, or failure in the submission of the transfer agent forms will mean that they will FAIL THE COURSE.
PS: Those who are interested, the next available date will be on Wednesday & Thursday, 15th & 16th Jun 2011. It is a one day course. This will be held during your school holiday.
