Dear Scouts,

This Monday, 30/11, all Sec2s please report in school at 8.15am as Venture Chandan needs help with the PLTC logistics which some of them belong to us. The PLC may not be going with you guys but we will meet you first in school and after that we have our own logistics to settle. And, only Sec 2s need to report and also please standardise your attire. I trust you guys can do it by yourself. Sorry, forgot to add, there will be no meeting on tuesday and wednesday due to the teachers being unable to make it. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

CCA Ceremony

Upcoming meeting

Dear Scouts,

For the meetings on the coming Tuesday and Wednesday, the PLC hopes that all can come as we will be helping you guys to push for your Scout Standard and Advanced. We will be doing activities like backwoodsman to pass the tests. And also, there will be a swimming test coming up soon and we are still liasing with Jeremy Sir. For those going overseas during this period, I sorry but there is nothing we can do. If you guys have any feedback, feel free to inform your PLs or even me. Finally, wishing all Muslims a Selamat Hari Raya Haji. :)

***ATTENTION*** Camp Gauntlet Pre-Camp Info

Dear Sec 2s,

All of you are kindly invited to the GAUNTLET camp, which is spread over 7D6N. The purpose of this camp is to sift out potential leaders for next batch's Patrol Leaders Council.

The activities in this camp will be many and varied. A key theme of the camp is to BE PREPARED. Hence, please the necessary items you will need for a camp. Pack smart and as light as possible. There will be a chance for you guys to wash your clothes during the camp itself so plan wisely.

Reporting Details:

5th Dec Saturday

0800h

Please report at the metal flag pole

I will need 2 volunteers to open the camp

Camp will officially end on 11th Dec Friday by 5pm. How early we end depends on how fast we finish our programme.

Things to do:

1. ensure there are adequate equipment (personal and store) for your training over the week

2. as a pre-camp "homework", plan a 2D1N menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner and breakfast) that is healthy and nutritious which is suitable for hikers on the move. This is a GROUP assignment, so the whole Sec 2 batch need only send me ONE copy. Submit this by 27 Nov 0800h at my email address.

Campfire on 17/nov tuesday

Dear Scouts,
There will be a campfire on this coming tuesday. Those interested please contact me at 96391944. We will also be required to come up with a performance so people with ideas please share.

Those that are involved in the New Zealand trip please take note of the changes to the packing list.
