Shorts/Bermudas/3/4: 2
Thermometer: 1
Lip Balm: 1
Poncho: 1

The changes are due to the low temperatures currently in New Zealand. BTW, Benedict, please remember to do what you have to do by the time we come back, aka 17 Nov. Thanks.

4/09 CCA Hike

Dear Scouts,

The application rounds for the 4th Chief Commissioner's Hike (CCA) Hike are now open!

Interested applicants please approach either Gorilla or me for more details on the application process. See here for more details from the SSA HQ Website.

Application Deadline: BEFORE 14th Nov Saturday

Prelim Briefing: 17th Nov Tuesday

Hike (upon successful application): 22 - 23 Dec 2009

Prerequisites:

1st Class Scout Standard

Valid 1st Aid Cert (with at least 6 months before expiry on date of hike)

This is one of the few VERY RARE times that HQ has opened up a 4th Hike slot. Priority is given to the graduating batches islandwide, and only 25 slots are available across the whole of Singapore. So do apply fast!

Pioneering & Woodcraft Course

This is a course that goes out to ONLY THE SEC1S. This course consists of a 1-day workshop and a 4D3N hands-on camp. Successful candidates will be awarded the Pioneer Proficiency Badge. The date and venue are as follows:

Workshop: 12th December; Scout HQ
4D3N Camp: 15th to 18th December; Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School
