What: 1st Official Unit Meeting / AGM (Annual General Meeting)
When: Friday, 15th January 2016
Reporting time: 2.30pm
Reporting venue: Outside Auditorium
Reporting Attire: Full Uniform + Beret (Uniform must be in tip-top condition)
Duty Patrol: PLC 2015
**3-2-1 Flagpole expected to be up and ready by 2.30pm in the school field
Things to bring: Wichita Kit + Logbook

Programme Details:
2.30pm - Report outside auditorium for Attendance Taking
2.40pm - Opening Ceremony + Uniform Inspection
3.00pm - Annual General Meeting (AGM)
4.30pm - Closing Ceremony
4.45pm - Bersurai

Important Note:
1. As this is our 1st official unit meeting and also our AGM day, all SCOUTS (Sec 2s - 4s) are COMPULSORY to attend. Alot & crucial information will be given to you on that day. So, I do not want any of you to miss it.
2. Only VALID REASON will be accepted if you are not able to attend. (Tuition is not a valid reason)
3. If you are absent from school on that day, please have the responsibility & courtesy to inform your PLs/Teachers via sms.

All participants are to attend the seminar. Lunch will be provided.

3. Residential Camp

Residential Camp Date: 18th Nov - 21st Nov 2011

Venue: Siglap Secondary School

Time: 0830hrs - 1230hrs

All participants are to attend the residential camp. All meals will be provided for the residential camp.

It is compulsory for all participants to attend all three parts of this course to fulfill all requirements.

Duty Patrol are to erect the 3-2-1 Flagpole LATEST by 7.45am in the School Field.

PS: We will be doing backwoodsman cooking (To complete within 3 hours with the given ingredients). Do remember to collect twigs!

First Aid Course

Hi Participants,

Tampines District Sports Carnival 2011

To All Ngee Ann Wichita Scouts Troop,

I am pleased to announce that the application for Tampines District Sports Carnival 2011 is open for registration!

Through this challenge, greater bonds and friendships can be fostered not just among each individual unit but also among the district.

The Tampines District Sport Carnival is divided into 3 sports, mainly Frisbee, Basketball and Floorball. Each team for Basketball and Floorball consists of 7 players; 5 players and 2 reserves, while from Frisbee consists of 9 players; 7 players and 2 reserves.

Each Unit can sent a maximum of 2 teams per Troop/Sport.

Registration will be based on first-come-first-served basis. Below are the full details:

Date: 17th September 2011

Time: 0800 hrs - 1400 hrs

Venue: East Spring Secondary School

Course Fee: $28 per team of 7 (Basketball/Floorball)

$36 per team of 9 (Frisbee)

Closing Date: Monday, 15th August 2011 at 3.00pm

Briefing Date: 27th August 2011

Time: 1400 hrs - 1500 hrs

Cyber Wellness Course 2011

This goes out to ALL Sec 3s Scouts (Except those who attending First Aid Course),

I am pleased to announce that the inaugural Cyber Wellness Course is now open for registration!

The course aims to raise the awareness amongst Scouts in the cyber world, while educationg them on the vigilant use of the internet and being "cyber-responsible". Participants will also understand how they, as Scout, can play a part to better the Internet and Cyber world.

During the 2 days course, particpants will understand each topic covered through fun games, videos and interesting sharing from the speakers. Participants will also get to present their findings of the chosen topic in powerpoint slides and video clip presentation. By sharing what they have learnt during this course to their family and friends, and pledging to their resolution of the course, they will be the Internet Wellness Ambassadors of the District.
